W is for Walking

As I hinted last week, Nathaniel started taking some steps. This week he's been walking half way across the room at daycare, and we've counted over 14 steps in a row at home. Take a look at our little big man in action.

Yay! He's walking early.... look out mom and dad. I was glad when Jack learned how to walk but more glad when Jack learned how to get himself back up after falling down while walking. If that makes sense??

I cannot believe it! He already seems so much bigger since August!

Actually, we're lucky on the standing up thing. He's been standing up from the middle of the floor unassisted for a month now (and practicing falling on his butt). He always starts walking that way. The few times he tried from an object (e.g. couch), he would fall. I think he decided doing it all himself is easier.

"Watch out world, here I come!" was the last thing mom and dad heard before little Nate took off across the room. It was in that moment that they knew he was no longer a little baby, he had become ... mobile!
